good news the other half is interested in getting an omega..
i love my 2ltr but we are thinking of the mv6 or the 2.5 v6...
seen a few on auto trader not many manuals tho .... :y

just bought a face lift 2.5 CDX fully loaded, for £1200 with full service history, 10mths tax and only 63k miles ;D. Their there if you look for them :y
Get an auto ...... you know it makes sense!  :y

It's all about six pots and an autobox! Might not have my mig any more but I still have to have an autobox, manuals suck in modern traffic, any less than a six cylinder lump and you might as well push.  :y

Get a 3.2 auto .. much more fun when you want it .. and docile as a lamb when you don't ...  :)

Just bought a 2.2 CDX auto estate on a 53 plate and just 35k miles for less than £3k. FSH and its immaculate. They are around, bought mine from Autotrader.  My first auto and so far so good.
