I’m looking to source original gm service parts for my 3.0 v6, does anyone know the part numbers for Oem oil, air filter, fuel filter & spin on oil filter, I’ve ordered the adapter to convert mine.

Is there any websites useful for finding the oem part numbers for parts i’ll be looking in the future?

You will be lucky to find GM branded parts now for your Omega.

I would recommend you try Autodoc who some of us have found very good for sourcing the products we need, and recently still had GM oil available. They source parts from across Germany and Europe generally, so still offer the items previously available for Vauxhall and Opel cars, where indeed the Omega was built.

None of those parts need to be GM, and because they're all shared with other models will be readily available from any local motor factor.

And we all know that the canister type oil filter is less messy, generally cheaper to service than spin-ons.

Granted, if some muppet hasn't serviced the car for 200,000 miles or the last idiot did it with a impact gun, then can need marginally more difficult.  But day to day, cleaner and cheaper.

And the rest of us find them as much use as a used condom smeared in dogshit. Particularly if something goes wrong like incorrect part sent or parts missing. Or, more commonly, Herpes lose the bloody parcel.

Also be aware, a lot of their pattern parts make First Line branded parts to look half decent.

As Nick W rightly points out, for servicing, all parts are freely available at any factors, and most of it might even be in stock due to how many different GM vehicles they were used in.  Its some of the very Omega specific stuff, not service items, that can be more challenging to acquire now.

When I had mine, I used GM filters and oil based on price and convenience (back in the old Trade Club days, so cheap, and delivered to my door same day), but wouldn't worry if I had to use non GM stuff....   ...aside from air filters, as the genuine Omega one was always deeper, hence more surface area, and also brake discs/pads as I found pattern ones couldn't handle the abuse I used to give them before I became a reformed character....

A matter of opinion TB, and I can only comment on my experiences,  along with others on here, who have found them excellent after buying a number of parts.  Even my Vx dealer staff use them now in the absence of GM parts.  As for Hermes: you are  out of date, as it is called Evri now and vastly better than than before.

"Buyer beware"  ......well, yes, that applies to all  online purchases!

  Indeed Ronnyd.  It strikes me it is some form of snobbery about those GM parts we were so familiar with 20 years ago, and have an affinity with!  No other parts are suitable in their opinion, ignoring the fact they more than do the job, being the only ones now available from reliable main line  sources, as us progressives have proved!  It is fact that the auto world has changed and the previous main dealer parts are "no longer available", a phrase my friendly Vx parts manager often uses now, with a roll of the eyes.  After all, my Omega is 22 years old in June, being one of the "newest" still on the road, but still well out of date in terms of their production in Germany and parts availability guarantee.
