The Pope thing is actually quite funny, especially if he posted it.

The whole Armstice thing isn't. He's misjudged that spectacularly. Whilst it's true that had he Americans not been involved the outcome would have been very different, they didn't win single handedly and Japan was pretty much unstoppable in SouthEast Asia until Hiroshima and Nagasaki were flattened... It may also be true that America spent more money, but that probably includes rebuilding much of Nazi occupied Europe after the Allies flattened it. But that doesn't alter the fact that those standing memorials are for everyone involved, not just the Allied countries and should remain sacrosanct.

How much money do you think he makes from posting something tongue in cheek designed to outrage?

if everything he posts gets shared 50 million times, that generates a significant amount of traffic which in turn grow advertising potential and he'll get a hefty slice of that as the owner of the site that he posted on.

Call him what you want, but he's far from stupid or Hitler.

I stand by what's been said regarding VE Day etc as he's way off the mark even if it has a certain logic from a purely statistical perspective.

A lot can happen before 2028, and I'm not just talking about the US election. With a bit of luck, the mid terms in 2026 will paralyse him.
