Serpentine belt guide

Hi guys,
Is there a serpentine belt change guide? I didnt find any.

Not that I'm aware of.

On a 2.6 - from your profile - you don't have to worry about the SAI stuff, so should be a bit easier, and from memory can be done with bagpipes still in play.

So,
Photo/draw the route of belt
15mm socket on a breaker bar, attached to tensioner (top left pulley looking at engine), and turn it clockwise to loosen tension, and unhook belt.

New one fits in reverse manner.

I've got an inkling that 1 T8 torx has to come off from a bracket near water pump, or am I thinking of the 2.5/3.0 engines?


Now, if you can grab some photos and do a guide for others, that would be appreciated :)

thanks for the quick guide, i changed the belt. i made a lot of photos, so i will write a guide sometime.

Looks Ok to me, apart from your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car, obviously...

Belt looks fine :y
