It is still light in England but dark here in Spain.

It is hot as hell here but cooler in England despite apparently being nearer the sun and having longer days!

Answers on a postcard. Prize is ice cold beers.

Surely as Spain is closer to the equator than England, it is also closer to the sun?  ???

The third rock from the sun spins at around 900MPH, and moves through space at roughly 68,000MPH.

 However, flat earthers will disagree. :)

Hi guys!
 Up here in Aviemore it never really gets dark at this time of year. I was up in the Shetlands working for a well known gas turbine company many years ago and it never gets dark. 8) 8) Pretty grim in the winter though!!  :( :(
