The practicalities of the scheme will be subject to a consultation, which will also look at how to make it work for those without a smartphone or passport.

He would love to (and would be no better than Starmer) but he isnt an MP.
If they engineer a by election in the near future,no matter where it is, they risk losing to Reform, so it wont be easy for him.

I can't see that working either, Nige will probably do his usual i.e. piss off as soon as the thing he has been bleating about, and promoting, rather than deliver on his shouting's (just like Brexit etc)

There's four years until the next general election, a lot can change before then. Personally, I think some of Farages policies are too Trumpian, but he might force the present government to change it's policies radically.

I imagine the civil servants will block, frustrate, and oppose everything he tries to do.....and bury him under a mountain of DEI and minority rights.

A major poll today says that if there was ana election tomorrow Farage would be PM.
I f that remains the same closer to the next election, the whole political establishment (regardless of political leanings) will move heaven & earth to stop it from happening.
Expect the worst dirty tricks campaign in living memory in the next few years.
