Can anyone identify the connector on the left?  Middle is Euro, right is PCL.

Dis a search on the picture - not sure id any of this helps

Connector (from left to right)    Likely Style/Type   Common Application
Left (Brass/Silver)   Appears to be a Japanese-style or Nitto-style plug, likely 3/8".   Often used in industrial settings and high-flow applications.

Middle (Brass/Silver with Black Housing)   Resembles a PCL-type or Industrial-type fitting.   Very common in the UK and general workshop/engineering environments.

Right (Yellow Zinc-Plated Steel)   Likely a US Industrial-style (M-style/Milton) or automotive-style (T-style/Truflate) plug, possibly 1/4".   Widely used in North America for home and mechanic shop air hoses.

Obviously with a threaded insert on the other end rather than the hose tail of the one I linked to.

With the info from Skruntie's AI (which predictably cocked up the 2 I did know, but its the (sad) future ), it's identified as a Nitto Kohki coupling .  Apparently the dominant connector in the far east. Which makes sense, as this is decidedly Ching Chong.

Obviously, I'm not dicking around with adapters or adapter lines, so will have another go at undoing it to put something more useful on.


Its also compelled me to sort out the rest of my air stuff, having a fairly even mixture of PCL and Euro, forcing me to constant dick around with adapters.  So I'll be replacing all the PCL couplings with Euro
