Been on meds since for Vertigo Steve
Did that happen after a viral infection, such as a sniffle?

I'd never really heard of it until Mrs TB got it, then it turns out its really common!

We're lucky here phone in the morning usually get an appointment then same day or within 24 hours , had to go last week funnily enough phoned at 9am & got an appointment at 11.15am.
Same here

Can't get hold of a quack for love or money.

And, months after you ask for an appointment you end up with a doctor who is hard (almost impossible) to understand. ::)

I tend to pay privately if terminally sick with man flu, or pox. :-X

One of my neighbours I was talking to yesterday has got it as well his started with a ear infection & sniffles so could possibly start from a viral infection, mine started Christmas eve probably because of my sugar  levels going  out of sync as I'm Type 2 Diabetic,so apparently that can start it off as well, I'd given it a month and I had improved slightly but saw my GP & she prescribed the tablets which have been brilliant I've suffered no side effects thankfully I think you can even buy them over the counter.

Since my health challenge of 2023 I have had no issue in getting a face to face appointment, of which I have had quite a few :D :D ;)

My local Surgery is a shambles. Whoever the Manager is, they need shooting.
I got a face to face when the brain aneurysm became an issue, but since then they seem like headless chickens, and I make sur I keep notes about everything because they cant be relied on.

Glad its under control, as I know the missus struggles with it sometimes.

As I understand it, its something that never really goes away, and the simplest thing can set it off.  Snow tends to set hers off, and also that new trendy TV filming where they have to spin around the subject....

.

In fact I think it started last summer but I didn't take any notice of it, it happened when I bent forward to wind the jockey wheel up on our caravan and that was it until this latest episode,  the worst part for me has been the awful nausea feeling when waking up first thing in the morning, hopefully now I will be able to keep it under control.

Not everyone has the luxury of not working, and some people choose to because they're rubbish at golf.
