My car was converted from auto to manual by previous owner, since i was taking the engine & gearbox out i decided to chase out any unused connectors from the auto. These lead to the blue multi plug.

After de pining all i’m left on the blue plug is these 2 black / red wires, are these auto related too? Can they go or do need to stay?

All depends on how the conversion was done :-\

If you have a Haynes manual to hand, the later models wiring diagrams should give you an idea.

With the ECU in the drivers kick panel, the autos have alot more wiring than the manuals, and if you're going to the trouble you'll probably be removing the dash board to chase it all out.

You should only have a black and white wire going to the reverse light switch plus it's return which runs to the reverse lights.

It's been a while, but I have used an auto engine/gearbox harness on a manual car with the minimum of modifications to good effect.
