Lol, it shows the different eras we grew up in, my memory of Mk1 and Mk2 escorts are that of boat like rot boxes which drank fuel, smoked and rotted out fast.....

still prefer my old HS, had a lot of fun in that car,sometimes driving sometimes not. ;)

I bought one of these from work and learnt to drive and passed my test in it.

Way back in 1978

I never mentioned anything about a license did I?
I passed the police station quite a bit in a Micra thats what I ment ;D

I guess my era was of smoking RS turbos (they seemed to be 2 stroke), 16V astra's, cav and calibra turbos and the Lotus Carlton
