So for those in self catering (studios, caravans, villas, etc), what do you do for your main meal, which I'm guessing for most is their evening meal?  For those using food included with the accommodation, pick option 1

Could only vote one, so chose self cater. We tend to do our own breakfast and evening meal and have a snack out in middle of day. Or snack back at accom and main meal out.

I think that anyone self catering will do every option apart from option 1.  If we’ve had a busy day out, we may stop for a meal on the way back to our rental, or if not dressed for it or feeling like it, go straight back and get a takeaway. If we’re back to the rental in good time, we may book a table in a local pub/restaurant.

When we used to holiday abroad every year when the kids were young, we almost always ate out as its not much of a holiday for swmbo if she had to cook.

50/50 Split between eating out and self catering. With interesting food to buy and markets to peruse, it's nice to do a bit of self catering, but not every day.

For holidays: One and three.

One is convenient but doesn't prevent you from eating elsewhere.

For work: eating out/self catering/rarely delivery except for a couple of places that we're all inclusive.
