Anyone remember the Essex meet at the Fox & Pheasant near Colchester, where the landlord threw us all out because he didnt want to have to serve so many people at once ?
He was like Basil Fawlty.

Actually, the thing I remember most about that meet was when TB turned up in his silver 3.2 and the engine sounded like a skeleton tossing itself off in a biscuit tin.
He dismissed it as just a sticky lifter, but I wouldnt have been brave enough to drive it (approx. 100miles each way? ) that distance.
