ok . new 702 saab variant fitted ( with added resistor)6 pin and all fine .removed unit was a 701  5 pin which has been on 10 years so obviously not a problem even thou it was the wrong one !
who knows ??  kevin certainly didnt reply either so dont know if he knows ???
