Hi
Any body know about tumble dryers.
Its a white knight cl737.

No heat..How can i find out if its a thermostat or the heater element.
Just had a look, the heater element is not warming..Tried pressing the reset button on the back.

Where will i find the thermostat...Any info would be very much appreciated.

You need to buzz it through....a favourite is the thermal fuse which is normaly near the element.

I had a creda condensing tumble dryer
Ate thermostats!
1st pair replaced under warranty, I kept the old ones for part no's
I replaced em twice more, but at £30 a pair, the 3rd time I bought a non-condensing one, which has been much more reliable (touch wood).
1 possibility for the faults was lack of power!
After having a fuse board replaced with a consumer unit, the tumble, in the garage, kept blowing the fuse on the lighting circuit!
It would appear when the previous owners built the garage, its entire electrical feed was taken from the lighting circuit.
Since putting it on a higher power circuit, all is fine, and we are convinced it drys stuff faster, so suspect it was running with not enough power before hand, and we all know how picky electronics are when they are run outside specifications (ie how many lights and things dont work when your car battery is low).

Took it apart today. Threatened it, Talked nice to it and put it back together.
It is now as i speak on test..Lets hope it continues to work.

As Iggy21.uk said its having a spin around the kitchen.

Worked for the last hour, fingers crossed it stays that way.
