Really tall jackstands/project car stands?

Where can I get them?  Machine Mart wants 70 quid a pair for jackstands.  Demon Tweeks wants 70 quid each for project stands.  That's getting onto 300 quid in jackstands!

Both of these are about 0.8m tall.  Are there any places I can get something cheaper?  I can't find anything on eGay under jack stands or project stands, other than the poxy little ones.

Lumber yard here I come . . .  ::)

£70 + £140 = £210 ::)

To do this right I need 4 project stands or 4 pairs of jackstands, or some mix thereof.  If I can't find cheaper, or borrow for a couple of months, then I will only raise one car at a time.

Thats why you never popped in for a cup of tea then, still out shopping :-/
