HIDs fitted
« on: 04 October 2008, 21:08:23 »

Bought a conversion kit out of keyfob money

FItting wasn't too bad, but

1) broke a small drill
2) couldn't find any self tappers and fitting the bolts was difficult - used my riveter in the end.
3) Sat on a small stool on top of my toolbox

Passenger side - nowhere to solidly mount the ballast - used sealer to hold in place in a tight gap.

All works fine and no trapped wires.

Oh and I dropped my screwdriver bit box down the side of the engine and couldn't find it, found it after reversing and it fell onto the undertray :o

Back is sore now :( and I was able to lean my weight on the scuttle as well!

Really fed up of this back :(

Those ones are the brightest  :y

I went for the 4.3K as well.

They are a lot brighter than even 50% brighter filament bulbs  :y

Reminded me last night as I did a job to Oxford in the dark and rain how grateful I have them  :y
