i was searching around last night on auto trader for a bit of fun, for the same price you can get a BMW M5...

Yeah, that's the kind of thing that I would consider if I were planning a massive upgrade from the miggy.  The problem is that it is more of an upgrade in cost than in value.

What other W and X reg cars similar to the miggy might be tempting?  Ones where the price is dropping due to fuel costs, but before the tax rise.
