Melton Mowbray pork pies are a joy to behold & not to be confused with overpriced supermarket offerings with melton but not mowbray on the packaging.
   Same with cornish pasties. Ginsters? my arse. You have to get 'em fresh from the west Country.

Last year I think, Cornish pasties are made in Cornwall. Funny, but they didn't exclude Ginsters which, although in Cornwall are clearly not Cornish pasties.

There used to be a genuine pasty shop in WOrcester but he went bump - they used to know me as I had them regularly.

The bloke who owned the shop used to run Rollins in Falmouth - then upset everyone but shutting down (only to open aas Falmouth Pasty Co in Worcester).

Has Bowyers closed? Was a big employer when I lived there. Not much else job wise round there unless you want to work on a farm.

Bowyers closed in march this year with the loss of 300 jobs.its either going to be yet another supermarket or diy store apparantly

The name "Ginsters" on any food product makes me feel ill. It's sacrilige to call them a cornish pasty.

Where's the pastry, for a start? Not a 2mm thick coating that crumbles all  over the interior of your car as soon as you open it. (car - because a motorway service station is the only place likely to strike up enough desperation to try to eat one)
