Dundee post count.
« on: 05 October 2008, 19:24:34 »

I've been made welcome from the start over 2 yrs. now. I knew no one when i turned up @ lakes 07. I met Chopsdad who welcomed me directed me to where i should park & pitch. Once there i opened the boot, threw my tent out & was lost, didn't know anybody. Sure none of you were to know i can't put a tent up but MD was the first to introduce himself & help. I remember things like that. The rest of the meet was great, made some friends there & many more since. I'm always on here & try to join in and add what i can not being hands on fixing but hosting mini meets, curries & supporting those who might need it.
Yes i can be a little outspoken at times gobby if you like. I slipped up once in the early days with an inappropriate youtube post, PM from an admin explained things, i apologised no problem, lesson learned.

Regarding post count reductions as a punishment, i feel this is wrong as those imposing the penalty have an unfair advantage which in my mind equates to bullying. The irony is if i lost mine i'd never ask for them back. Take them if it makes you feel good but it's bullying, like hitting some one who can't hit you back.
Sorry for the long post but i've been stewing on this all day.
There you go' ive said it, pick the bones out of that.

IMHO it's all a bit of fun & most certainly NOT bullying.
The Admins have to stand by the OOF rules too, & it cleary states that bullying of a member will not be tollerated.

I support Amigo.

Post count stripping can seem light hearted to those involved (not MD maybe), but it can leave the rest of us wondering what small indiscretion is required to get the same treatment.

The Admins have a tough job to do, keeping us lot in order (and sometimes we clearly need it). But I do think that there can be a better way.

In Loo Knee's case it has become a funny point as he seems to make a career of it & we know he'll get them back soon. I've met him a few times now & he's a good laugh & a diamond geezer, but other cases are still inappropriate.

No good reason for using an unfair advantage Broocie.
Sorry but i'll never agree with it. Other methods are fairer & more effective. It's stiill bullying & therefore still wrong.
