Has any body evey bought any thing from german e-bay and paid with bank transfer ?  Only there are some parts as always that i'm after and guess what no paypal if you can remeber i put a post up some time ago as there were bits i was after but had to let them go due to the fact i think bank transer is a bit touch and go and its expensive from when i checked into it last time fee's at this end and fee's at that end......So just wanted to ask guy's and girl's if anyone has had the expirence. :-? :-?

Yes but only using german banks to send funds.  I keep it to small amounts in case of promlems as there is no protection that way ....

I have used bank transfers to germany a couple of times without any problems, but be aware that the banks here charge anything between £15 and £20 to make the transfer.  Other than that there should be no problems :y

Made a few transfers via the bank, not made easy but as said before can be around for me about £17.

Have been caught out once with the receiving bank charging me about 5 euros, (sent cash to cover that)

Goods have always been received, and communications in English as my German is non-existent
