Brilliant cars but the electrics can let them down. It says last of the production run but ive seen the 155 registered on a P plate. The best ones to go for are the later ones with the wider arches they look even better :y

I know Pete, but I dont want to spend a lot of dosh. I'm keeping my meega, she loves her ZT, so it would be a third car and I cant justify a big outlay.

Yeah, electrics.  Just remembered, they have an earth return system, unlike most other makes which have an earth wire self tappered into the bodywork 2 inches from the lights or whatever.

All earths return to an earth block in the engine bay.  Ensure its clean and tight and all should be OK.

At least it was on mine..

Yeah, sure, but its a great bargaining point!  Pull a coule of the black wires off next to the battery and the dash looks like Blackpool Illums and the fekkin thing wont start!  Discount price now applies!

Try the alfa owners forum. There was a P plate on there a month ago and it was tidy with 17" alloys for £400 I was very tempted but the wife would have hung me because I still had the GTV for sale :'(

Naughty boy. When I was younger and used to go to the auctions if there was a car you wanted and it had wheel trims (much more common then) I used to put a couple of nuts behind the trims or if it was RWD put a small thin chain around the prop shaft so when it was driven into the ring it would sound awful, putting people off and you would get the car cheaper ;)

Good idea ;D

I was watching 5th gear a couple of weeks ago and Tiff Needell was testing the new 3.2 Alfa Brera with 4wd and he said he prefered the BMW M3. I think the man has a screw loose
