I suppose its taking the helicopter view of the situation, making the point of all sing from the same hymn sheet, ensuring our ducks are all in the same row whilst maintaining the ability to hit the tallest nail on the head first......    ::)

Nope.  Just been speaking to some of the guys from work.  Really makes you think on what happens on the shop floor versus what gaffers thing what happens on the shop floor.....

Reality versus black and white.....

Explaining how a gaffer came down hard on a colleague who gave someone a warning rather than booking them for some minor nothing.  Cop deamed a warning would be better heeded and likely to ensure a change of conduct, gaffer thought otherwise.

Ho Hum...

How did said gaffer get to know about this warning? I take it there was no paperwork?
