How much for a thermostat - I just can't get that bolt undone

For those jobs I don't need a huge tool selection, therefore could probably travel by train which would reduce the travelling costs.

Using genuine new GM parts for the camcovers, and a contitech cambelt kit, the cost - to include travel expenses, for a cambelt kit change, fitting of both banks camcover gaskets, and full breather cleanout would be £376.

Probably not the most competitive quote but unfortunately the travel costs are higher than usual due to the distance.

Still probably a good cut under dealership prices, though

Thanks mate. The prices are much more than they used to be. Unfortunately though, they are as low as I can justify, if I'm going to make any kind of partial living off it.

I don't envisage they will go up anytime soon - the cost of petrol coming down has assisted in that
