Very interesting ebay omega
« on: 19 October 2008, 10:12:15 »

This omega estate has been relisted. It was bid to over 2 grand the first time it was listed, but the reserve was £2500. It has now been relisted with a reserve of £1500. :-/

That's virtually brand new! What a waste of a good car to have only done that many miles.

It may have only done 2773 miles, but the bodywork and everything else is 14 years old......I see this as an overpriced old car rather than an inexpensive car with low miles....not for me this one. :y :y :y

Its been clocked at some stage, the second 0 (zero) is out of alignment with the other digits, so don't believe all you read. Remember, if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :y :y :y :y

Well I've asked the seller for the required details to do a DVLA check ..  if he's honest there's no problem .... so lets see what occurs .. :)

It may have happened before the current seller acquired the car. The paper trail will prove it. It there is a full paper trail showing mileage then it could be 'just one of those things', if not be suspicious.

On the one hand, I disagree. I've seen cars with a digit moved like that as the one next to it moves.
On the other hand, if it is genuine, he would have shifted it easily on the trader,so why ebay.

Such vehicles come on the market every so often. Could be moody but why would some one try to mis represent an early low ish spec Mig? Must be more profitable cars to fiddle. I think you'd have to go & see it yourself to be sure.
Never liked the early steering wheels anyway, ugly part on a pretty car. ::) :-/
