Licence expiry
« on: 21 October 2008, 19:44:41 »

Just been thinking, with recent threads about expiring licences and all ....... when the big 7-0 comes around and the licence is no longer valid, what happens then ???

Does it get renewed on a shorter term basis, as long as you behave and are healthy. Or do you need to re-test?

My dad is 85 and still driving (on his own -- no-one will get in the car with him !!!! ) -- he has never, to my knowledge, re-tested (wouldn't pass either!)

I've just been looking at the same thing. Apparently, at 70, you just renew online.

The site also says everyone will get a reminder two months before your photo expires.
