IMHO overpriced ...

the ABS ECU could be anywhere from £50 (scrappy) to £130 (refurbed) to £350 (new) just for the bits.

He's done suspension work but no mention of a geometry check (£100)

Heated seats U/S , Blind removed and the sound system destroyed ... :( leaving holes in the parcel shelf !!!

and to my eyes the exhaust looks all wrong .....

Too many things to fix at that price IMHO

Agreed on that, anyway have an ABS ECU here already although it's 8 pin and that could be 12 £15 the last one though :D, I wonder if I bid him 500 I could get it. I can get all the bits no sweat, totally agreed on the exhaust too looks absolutly awful. Maybe 500 is on offer tomorrow.

On the plus side, it's just had a few hundred quid's worth of bits put on it.

I would be VERY careful about the door cards. Possibly not put back on because they were mullered in getting them off... "these have not been put back on the car as to save time for the buyer to put another stereo into the car" ... my arse!

You could go and view it - bid £500 (or even take the cash with you and offer there and then) if you get a good feeling?

eh? you wanna spend 1.7k odd on a Volvo V70, but just 700 squid on a shagged and butchered Elite?

Spend 1.5k and get yourself a decent 2001/2 facelift!

Fair point about the cards mate didn't think about that. On the plus side he has 100% feedback it's 75 miles from me hich ain't that far, it looks straight and clean i'd have to get the door cards on before I left though, that sort of thing really really bugs me.   ;D

If he'd take the 500 i'd snap it up like a shot new cambelt and water pump cant really go wrong there plus its got the full leather etc. Could a fuse cause the seats not to be working any pointers to that issue would help  :)

Looks mint inside, I know where theres a parcel shelf and I know the fella too  ;) Slight scratch that you can see near the passenger seat. And im sure I could find a back box somewhere cheap and some clear side repeaters, that exhaust does look awful though.

;D Elite looks like a quick money maker to me and done all the bits on me current mig so no probs there. :)
Can't get to the Volvo either just too far away. Wouldn't want to keep that mig for long either.

Just asking how hard are rear blinds to do? Also the holes in the parcel shelf would they have been standard speakers in there?
