What if it rains? That was your excuse last time ::)

If i wake up and its chucking it down, i won't bother, make it another day.
Its always raining ::)

Today was nice  8-)

I would only ever be a fair weather biker, but i pay £80 a month for the privilage of parking my car on tarmac next to the station. Fuel bill is around £100 a month.

Bikes can park for free, and i would get 60mpg rather than 30.

pretty sure its more than that!

I get over 100mpg from the CG125 :)
yeah but its not much faster than a push bike  :D :D :D

i rekonded 50mpg on a 600 on average.

100mpg would be nice, but i don't think 65 mph would cut it on the A43 to the station.

I'm a fair weather Westfield driver but it doesn't stop me having a hood and a mac in the boot. You will get caught out one day so it may as well be your CBT day IMHO. No-one would ever do much in this country if they stayed in whenever the weather was iffy. ;)

My TDM 850 does about 45 mpg no matter how it's ridden. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a wuss when riding it. :-[  ;)

I tend to get around 50mpg from the ZX10. Its not the most economical bike ever made, nor the lightest - esp with a fat git on it.

But whatever you do Tunnie, get proper protective gear - do not skimp on that! Snowboarding stuff will not be goo enough.

No paid any money, pay on the day  8-)

yeah i will get the gear, they provide it for the CBT, but after that i will get my own stuff. I know from snowboarding that you own gear makes a big difference to your comfort level.

Just been thinking of ways to cut my commute and save money, i like living at home.

I could prob save £300 a month if i biked in, and could do the run in about 1hr15-1hr25 i rekon?
