They were plod alright.
The only thing I see wrong with it is where the "Spectators" were stood.  They should have been stood at a point where the car had passed them before performing the manouver.
If it went wrong, where they were, they'd have been ten pins in the path of a white, blue and yellow bowling ball.

talking of boy racers.....i went to macD for tea tonight, fancied something quick and unfilling...

whilst in there i witnessed the chav in his native environment, the McD's car park, in his 1.2 Mk1 clit, with 17'' wheels and blue neons under the car, it was a real fanny magnet (or did it make him look like a idiot, i couldn't really tell)

finished my meal and pulled out of the car park, with chav in tow, heading out of poole there is a stretch of dual carridgeway, we get on it after coming off the roundabout and chav is right up my bumper, as soon as he can he can he pops outs and the clit is in the outside lane now and the nuts are being ragged out of this thing.....40, 50, 60, 65, i am sat alongside him the miggy hasn't even got to 3000 rpm and he is caning it with what looked like a genuine belief he could show me his ass......

i got bored at about 67, slipped it gently into sport mode, let the gearbox drop it down a gear and then gave his passenger a wave goodbye...........floored it and watched him go backwards very quickly......

i know he was smaller than me, but he started it.....all i did was put things back into prospective for him ;D ;D

One of those "Wish I had me camera" moments.
Picture the scene...1 mint condition blue Subaru Impreza parked in a large out of town pet shop car park. Sat sideways in the drivers seat is the young owner, feet on the floor outside...head in his hands.... nothing exceptionally "photo worthy" there I hear you say.
Well, lets add one concrete bollard buried squarely in the rear of the car...when I say buried, apparently it had been stopped going any further into the car by the rear diff.

A fool and his Scoobie are soon parted !

Misfortunte, No. Stupidity, Yes.  :D :D :D :D :D :D

If he was reversing fast enough in a public car park to do that he was clearly a idiot of the highest order and deserved all he got.

Absolutely !  I was told this sad tale (stop sniggering !)  by a colleague who had spotted it on his way back from his lunch break. So it wasn't even out of business hours.
Will he have learnt from it ? Probably not !  His sponsors "Team Mam 'n' Dad" will probably have their little angel up and running pretty quickly. I can just picture it now "My foot slipped of the clutch. It's these extortionately expensive designer trainers you bought me...the soles have gone all slippy. I'll need a new pair of these too !"

1.2 clit  ;D

have no chance..

but 1.6 and 2.0 in crowded traffic faster than miggy.. their gearbox ratios are very short..How I know..I do use one :'(

but after 70-80 mph miggy beats them (except rs) ..
