That didn't take long
« on: 23 December 2006, 19:37:56 »

Finished work yesterday, finished last of the shopping this morning, already I'm bored sh*tless. ::)

All the "nice" stuff we bought to eat at christmas, the pate, exotic cheeses and huge prawns etc. I'm gonna scoff the lot soon ;D

I had a choccie urge earlier. Feel quite sick now, and wish I hadn't demolished it all. Gotta go down shops for more for xmas now....

Gotta be careful, when I get bored, I press the 'Buy it now' button, and instantly regret it :o

Ahhh you must have been to my local Tesco's then  ;D

I went crimbo present shopping this morning and then to Tesco's for food this afternoon.....prezzie shopping went fine....but Tesco's  :o It was like they are gonna be closed for months  :o.....Shelfs completly stripped  :o Hardly any meat.....managed to get some 'Finest' stuff but ordinary joints of meat ....completley gone  :o Can you believe i paid for a 'finest' turkey joint (manage just about 4 portions) covered in parma ham with stuffing £15  :o

Booze section was ok tho  8-) Had shelves stacked with Stellla and red wine  :D

I have been busy - firstly reading all the paperwork with the broadband hub, waiting for Wednesday, then got on with a lot of viudeo editing

Had a grin this morning. Went down to morrisons for the 8am opening. It was still dark  :-[

Thought I'd be clever and beat the rush, Yeah, right. Me and 500 pensioners. They are rather ruthless when it comes to getting the best joints of meat ;D

Came back black and blue. Never again. Honest.

Martin, they given you one of those Home Hubs?  I reckon they've bumped up wireless side to be more powerful somehow.  Be interested in how you get on with the wireless side.  Someone near me has one (and not immediate neighbour), and its signal is as strong as my own AP.

Secondly, your avatar ain't working for me...

Walked around are local Woolworth's with the wife (i walked she waddled huffing and puffing lol.) and couldn't believe some of the prices....picked up a cordless battery screwdriver £10 500w portable floodlight £5 and Rechargeable car Vac (sucks nearly as good as the wife) £6.....then the best of all the wife was looking at Double duvet cover sets,im bored beyond belief and just looking around when i see a couple of chavvy pikey type girls buggering about with price tags just up the isle where the wife was....wondered up and quietly said ""You do know your on cctv dont you"" with that they were away like a couple of greyhounds, wife couldn't believe her luck when we paid for 5 sets of bedding and the total was only £30 instead of nearly £100,i just smiled to myself.(well if the silly shop workers price things up wrong isnt my fault is it.lol.)

Then stopped off at sainsaburys and picked up two whole Salmons for less than a tenner of the fresh fish counter....wife nearly wet herself she was so happy,so as much as i detest shopping but for obvious reasons have to walk round with her being so delicate, its been a rather good day. ;D

However now at work and read the paper looked on Ebay and now looking around for something to do.... :-/

I've been to work till 3.  Came home to find my best friend roll up in a new A6 Avant - he needs it cos he has 1 kid and drives nearly 6 miles a day to work and back. ;D Christmas shopping for the wife in the morning - it's easy cos there's less to choose from and doesn't take as long  :y

Also glad for big 'meega estate for car park battles, size does intimidate and it does matter, though i wish they would make the spaces a tad bigger!!!
