I had grown to detest F1 in the schumacher era,but i think it has been more interesting in the last couple of seasons.hamilton is a real racer who actually upsets people by having the audacity to overtake them.
There is still an awful lot wrong with it,but maybe all the new regs.next year will help.time will tell.
So why is that differenet to Schumacher?
Schumacher was a cheat imo,didnt have a sporting bone in his body.He would overtake , but also shove people off,block the track with his "crashed" car to stop people outqualifying him.etc;etc;
But ultimately made for more exciting racing by at least overtaking occasionally.

Last one on ITV - btw. And almost certainly the last time we will have to suffer James Allen.
A bit of excitement was lost when Walker left - he was able to add excitement that otherwise didn't exist...
I agree,he waas commentating on goodwood a few weeks back,and he made it sound much more exciting than a load of vintage cars chugging around,still sounded like his trousers were on fire. ;D :y
I think there has been more overtaking in the last couple of seasons than for quite a while. can remember shumacher winning the british from 5th on the grid a few years back,he didnt overtake a single car,it was all in the pit strategy. :(

My previous TV was not a fan of being auto tuned - I always did each channel manually (if you want to Nathan - I'm here - ITV on Freeview p155es on Sky for picture quality)

QUite easy to lose channels that way ;D

Wonder if you can get a bet on Hamiltons car being " assisted " to leave the track during the race and not finishing ?

Aye, what's the betting something like Alonso is a bit late braking at the first bend and, hey presto, old score settled. I hope not, but.......

If Alonso wins,then he doesnt even need to come 5th, wouldnt that be a great irony?

And if Alfonso takes Hamilton out.......??????

 ;)

HE would get sacked I expect - if your driver is prepared to smash his car to help someone froma different team - I'd sack anyone

Though the car would never get used again whatever, so why not?  Renault may need Ferrari's assistance next year....

If I was Renault I would expect a top 5 finish from him, if he just decided to ram another driver off and not get points, a cooler driver may be worth while.
