Cut a spud in half and rub that on the rear screen, it works and is cheaper that Rainex ;)

I use Rain-x for about 15 years now,giving all windows a coat once a month on both car and lorry never had a problem. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

If its the rear or side windows and you dont want to use a spud ;D why dont you just use car wax the next time you are waxing the car ;)

  Never used Rainx but bob heath motorcycle accesories do a spray to stop visors misting and a coat to help water run off the visor, might be cheaper checking out local bike shop ;)

This reminds me of an old joke…

A cowboy is riding his horse in the desert sun. Far over the horizon, he sees the image of a person on a horse and next to it another person walking. As he gets closer and the images become bigger, he can clearly see an Indian chief riding a horse and next to him walking is a young Indian woman. The cowboy is surprised to see the woman walk such a long distance on foot in the desert while the man is riding the horse, so he stops and asks ‘How come you’re riding the horse and the woman is walking?’. I've used RainX before with good success.  It works like a high gloss polish by making the water clump together in beads which are forced away by speed - hence the 40mph reference.  But it streaks if you use the wipers - so if you can do 0 - 40 without looking its perfect.

Rear window would add benefit for little cost and it's better than nowt.

Side windows - do the rears first & see how you get on.  I found the water beaded then froze at night and it restricts visibilty until cleared - but this is easily done with a swift wipe with a credit card.

They also do a RainX anti fog for the inside - I've just got 2 for £1 in the pound shop. HTH

I'm sure Rainx is great for the outside of screens, and probably inside screens too. However, My dad ran  fish and chip van for years, trying all manner of things to keep his screen mist free. Eventually he tried using neat washing-up liquid, which worked a treat, even in his steamy van. The only downside was that it would make the screen a bit blury until it dried off a bit. Then again, I don't suppose your wife will be doing a lot of frying inside her omega, so perhaps this would be overkill?!
