34.5 hours till i set off for FLORIDA woohoo.
its been a looooooong 12 months sice we booked it last november and now my kiddleywinks are getting exited, oh sod that! I AM GETTING EXITED  
i Never been on a plane before, we are flying with virgin economy, every one i speak to who has been with virgin say they are good to fly with, we staying at the quality inn on international drive. ooh ooh there is also a space shuttle launch on the 14 th nov, so hoping to see that, should be good. was gonna get a cab to manchester airport BUT, cheapest quote for 5 was £107 return, but got a cheap deal to park the car for £48, so we going in the Mig.
apart from the usual attractions, any recommendations where we may like to go.
we are hiring a car for a few days in the second week. as we dont want to spend every waking min in the theme parks, would like to go to miami, gulf coast etc.

one of the mother in laws are over their at the mo. She sends daily texts to tell us what a great part of the world it is. Hope you and yours have a good time

I can recommend a couple of god eateries for when your out of the theme parks... For breakfast look for an IHOPS (international house of pancakes) 12 stack with maple and a side of bacon and all the coffee you can drink costs about £3. Then for an evening meal look for a Denny's, 16oz steak with all the trimmings for under a fiver

I love Denny's, practically lived in there when I was over there. I've never did the theme parks though as I was there on my own.

Went first time to Disneyworld  back in 1975 Yup ??there wasnt many other parks then but kids and both parents had a great time , we went there for two weeks as I was leaving the US behind after working there 6 yrs, good laugh too was in airport at Miami (then no Sandford) & was chatting with the Jethro Tull band (Ian Anderson & co) they were really down to earth he flew 1st class but rest of band was sat with us, they just finished a US tour as Queen had too who we went see earlier that summer..

EDIT: As an addition, SWMBO got me into Tull shortly after we met, seen them loads since and even inspired me to learn the flute

Which quality are staying at? I stayed at the quality inn oppo wonderworks...i`d reccomend that you go for brekkie at ponderosa $3.99 each all you can eat buffet and try the olive garden italian restaurant for an evenin meal with the never ending pasta bowl Mmmmm if you have not got your disney or universal tickets shop around an take a look at the wallmart the other side of I4 they are quite cheap for the tickets and dont order pizza from the flyers that get pushed under your door!!! they are mostly ripoff merchants who just want your c/card details or frozen pizza from a cash and carry   enjoy yaselves guys...

thanx, all i know its the Quality Inn, i have been warned of the flyers under the door by other people, thats why i am only going to places that have been recommended to me, Dennys bein one, pondarosa and more.
food i have been told is cheap, we have a budget of $1600 but our tix have been bought already. oooooooohhh this time tomos i be some where over the atlantic, hope i packed enough socks hhmmmm :-/

Blackpool!! PHAH, too expensive for me, it costs a tenner just to watch your kids are safe on the pleasure beach, costs a fiver simply to walk thru the place.
