change the car colour???

any one know how much it may cost ?

i always wanted black mat omega with black wheels   ::)

I re-sprayed an Astra many years ago from Silver to white (don't ask).

You can take off most of the exterior and relevant interior trim, but the main problem is that unless you take-out the engine, the engine bay will remain in the original colour, which, to say the least, looks odd...

i paid 1600 to have a car changed from red to purple, an it was a convertible so there was no roof to paint.....

it was stripped as well, they did everything, underside, boot, engine bay the full nine yards.....

it did look good

actually ,matt black is probably the most forgiving paint to spray,so if your brave buy about 50 aerosol cans of the stuff and give it a go. :D ;D

Very true, could easily do it yourself, cans or a cheapo compressor set up. :y In my day we often used to paint our bonnets matt black ;D ;D ;D

To do it properly you may as well buy one in the colour you want as the engine bay, boot, door shuts etc will look wrong & you'll spend money to de value the car. Only wothwhile if you're doing a bare shell resto. Blow overs should only be in the same colour. 8-)
