Inlet manifold question

When i fitted my LPG system i ended up using a 3.0 manifold and mine is a 2.5
Question is will the larger air bore of the 3.0 have any adverse effects on my engine??
Also the injectors were the same colour(blue) on both my original manifold and the donor one, so i left the injectors in the 3.0 manifold and just fitted it to mine.
Any opinions gratefully recieved ;)

injectors are same but throats are a bit more open bud ! would have noticed more if you used the 3.0 bottom and opened ports on head to match  :y

my gold 2.5 Elite had a 3.0 inlet on it when i did the LPG conversion, i can't see that being a big issue.....

i also cant see the injectors being a problem, i believe 3.0 ones flowed a greater rate but if the engine doesn't require that rate then it will flow as per the engine requirements which is governed by the ECU and signals from the engine sensors.

Its not running too bad to be honest. Im getting about 250 miles from roughly 60 litres, not sure wether this is good or not but im quite happy with it cos i used to get 145 miles to £40 of petrol and now im getting 250 miles for £35 so thats good in my book ;)

i get 340 miles out of 75 litres so that's about on par with what  am getting.....


i see the two filling stations out on the A217 near the M25 have dropped their LPG down to 55.9 now

About the same as I get from mine TBH. Trouble is, now it's cheaper to run I find the car is much noisier  ::) ::) ::) ::)

I went up to Norwich at the weekend and all the LPG I saw was 55.9. Motorway services included.

My local garage near work always used to be the cheapest for miles. It was 55.9 most of the time when everywhere else went up to 61.9, and only crept up to 58.9 in the worst of the fuel prices.

It is stuck at 58.9 still, and they have just installed a new LPG pump which is bust most of the time, and when it works it fills so slowly I get bored.  ::)

Fleet services on the M3, just up the road, was always 61.9 Now 55.9. :y

Consumption sounds about right. I normally fill up at about 270-280 miles and it takes 62 litres give or take a little.

The guy I bought the kit from is called Jeremy Clubb on 07830302988. This is the guy who originally listed the kit on Ebay.

However, I believe Lazydocker spoke to his supplier, a chap called Teilo, and did a deal for OmegaOwners to purchase kits directly from him on the understanding that he wouldn't be too overloaded with support calls. IIRC, he didn't want his contact details on the public forum but if you PM Lazydocker I'm sure he'll let you have his phone number.

It's exactly the same kit but Teilo was easier for me to contact... I've heard from a couple of members saying that he wasn't answering calls but I've had no problem ringing on a weekday morning.

Oh... And this is a link to my pictures.

I think we need to do a how to Kevin... I reckon between the many pictures on here it shouldn't be too hard :y :y
