yup, good motorway run between .8 and 1.0 leptons it can do 28mpg.  at 70 they cruise at about 1500rpm.  Town and silly driving bring it down to crazy levels though.

price of these is getting rather silly, would be daft not to

Might be tempted to do that, but i suspect dealers are aware of such people trying it on

they probably are, and they judge you straight away, my brother had a lot of poor salesmanship from traders when he went looking at lexuses, in his battered 98 sky-mileage bubble shape rover 214, so many of them barely entertained him but he eventually got one, a few years later he turns up at garages wanting to test drive these big mercs and stuff and never gets refused cos he's parking a lexus outside (albeit a cheap one, still looks nice!). i had no problems playing about in merc S classes when i arrived in the elite either!

they dont need to know your age, so you tell them you're 26ish, have had your omega for nearly 5 years and are looking to upgrade to something fantastic, still VX and still rear wheel drive, i'm pretty sure you shant be let down

One good thing about being older(48)...is I never have any trouble getting a test drive in a nice car....They usually offer a cup of tea and a biscuit to boot.
This was not the case many years ago.

Yes , fuel consumption goes out the window when you hit the loud pedal but i bet you sit there in the drivers seat with a sh*t eating grin on face as you give it some welly  8-) 8-) 8-)
