Cougar Ace car tansporter
« on: 09 November 2008, 19:18:52 »

Talking to a mate of mine in Canada tonight and he told me about this.
I never seen or heard of it being reported .
Seemingly all ships have to discharge foreign sourced water ballast and take on fresh when entering US waters and it all went wrong for the Cougar Ace....!
Mazda destroyed the cars rather than expose themselves to any after sale lawsuit issues.
Be warned it will bring tears to a glass eye........

So if I get this right....non Canadian fluids have to be replaced...so rather than shipping 'dry' vehicles Mazda just destroyed perfect cars?
