I am not on a wireless system, but when I have browser issues and no access my skype still works.

Sometimes just a modem reboot solves the problem, but I would have thought that and checking unplugging/plugging the telphone lines in has allready being tried?

Done that, I I pull out the yellow cable it say nework connection unplugged.... ::) ::) ::)

Don't know if this will work in Vista. But worth a go.

Start
Run
Type cmd and press OK
Type ipconfig /release
then
ipconfig /renew
then
ipconfig
? What is the number in IP address (something like 192.168.0.2)
? What is the number in Default Gateway
