ASDA PETROL

The radio said today that ASDA have dropped their fuel price to 90.9p / litre... will the others follow, will it rise again.

Come on guys n' gals what are they playing at??? :-/

How low will it go ?, depends on how deep/prolonged the recession is.
Hopefully it will keep dropping :y

i dont think it'll drop much further, its 90.9ppl here aswell at the moment

Yer...i noticed that too 90 summut p....at local Asda.....only dropped 1p of diesel tho  :( 106ppl now......sorry but i watch diesel prices now  ::)

LPG is 54ppl at local Shell garage now i noticed.....if Entwood is looking at this thread, thats a 5p drop :y

Good point Dave, one of my colleagues has a diesel, he's made that point too, he reckons the truck drivers may have something to say rather soon :-?  And obviously the Taxi Drivers too ;D ;D

Just had a letter from Countrywide -- they have reduced their LPG price by 6 ppl -- have no idea what it's down to cos I have lost track of the changes!!!!

And just to hijack my own thread, there's also talk of a further cut in interest, possibly a further half of one percent has been projected.

WHats happening with the estate?

We are in (very casual) talks about that. I am considering it as a project, to take the head off and sort that stud, but it's very much if, at the moment :y

Opec will try to keep the price of oil bouyant to offset the reduction in price because of falling demand by cutting production

Been 51.9 here for a week or two, although that station has just had a new pump and it's always knackered. Only 52.9 at Fleet services on the M3 though. :y

On pure demand/supply, I reckon we should see 85p/litre, but a cold snap in Europe (coming next week, I think) could see a rise in demand for heating oil and that could drag the crude price up, with a knock-on effect on petrol.

Then again, I might be entirely wrong.  :-[  ;)
