went to a property today and was greeted at the door (at 15:20) by a big fellow in a dressing gown,

followed him to where he reported a radiator leaking

got to the rad and all i could see everywhere was cat poo / sick just laying around EVERYWHERE - he even bent down to pick up and MOVE a piece of poo out of the way where i was working. didnt clear it up - just moved it with his hands.

the Radiator was hanging off the wall which was why it was leaking, at which point i told him he would be charged next time we were called out for that radiator.

its one of those jobs where you wipe your feet on the way out - NOT the way in.

house stunk of someone who lives in 1 room and never opens a window.

i really cant understand how people can live in such filth

I know of someone who excretes in their own house (all over the house) and smears it up the walls, etc. Plod are seen to regularly attend the address - and it's rumoured she throws it at them - I expect they draw straws when they get a shout to that address!

used to see al that when i did council property repairs, i remember 1 woman throwing food leftovers in the corner of the door on the floor, it was disgusting in there. couldnt see past the path as the grass was so high up. i refused to work there.  lots like it, just dont give a toss how they live, as long as the council are going to put up with it. there going to carry on doing it.

i've had that when delivering mail and parcels, you knock on the door and when they open it, the stench of really old over heated baking sweat and sh*te and feet wafts out and strips away the skin on your face

i always find a few beers after work helps. work stops when i down tools.

Saw a few sights when i was a milkman MANY years ago. My house is a batchelor pad (many of you have been here) but it does'nt stink, & you can eat without the need of an ambulance.
    Main thing is the workshops always tidy, what more do you need!!! 8-)

I wouldn't have gone in, full stop and I would have told them why as well. Filthy scum bags
