For twice the price you get less of a package. :-/

You missed the subtle '£20 per month after 4 months' bit. Suspect Advertising Standards would want to have a word about how they display it

That’s a trial of exclusive Sky TV worth £20 per month. To cancel those mixes you need to call Sky before the end of the 4 month trial period or you will continue to pay £20 per month for the 4 Sky Mix package.†

Bloody typical of thier advertising.

And that is the point, they reckon that they will get enough people forgetting to cancel that they will make more from this offer than from the £150 'one-off'. Chances are that the £20 per month has a one year subscription hidden away in the small print

There isn't a minimum contract period after the 4 month trial, but you do have to give 30 days notice to cancel the packages before the 4 months expire. No problem with an appropriate diary note.
I'm tempted to give it a go to see if we will use the packages enough to justify £20 a month. If not, just cancel.

Just give them notice of cancellation a week after the dish is fitted.   ;D ;D :y

This sort of thing really pi**es me off.

You see a 'good' deal, break out the wallet/card....

.... then the damn small print hits you.

Minimum contract length, 50% off for 1 month only.... etc

Bring on the advertising standards agency!!!
