I had a bit of a drive to work like that today, rural roads, no grit, like driving on ice all the time. Came home the long way round using main roads ::) and that was in the Citroen ::)

I had a LOT of a journey like that yesterday, over 2 hours to go 21 miles when it normally takes me about 40 mins.  :y
It remains to be seen whether tomorrow will be a repeat due to the forecast of more snow. It'll be fun if it snows on top of all the ice on the side roads on our estate

I made my daughter walk to the childminder this morning given the state of some of the roads and the difficult bends and hills, with cars parked all over, on her estate. Likely to be the same in the morning. No snow as such yet, but any snow will be on top of Ice on most roads,, bad news. ::)

Been looking at the chains on fleabay.

Not sure if these are the same as the one's that Deb;s has but they look similar.  Am thinking of investing in a set.

Any thoughts?
