decided to keep the CDX
« on: 06 December 2008, 00:00:59 »

after a bit of bantering around the car lots and looking at lots of expensive metal (well for the money) i have decided to keep the CDX

however.....and i have no doubt i will get stick for this, i have decided to buy a 'toy' in the shape of a Mk1 MX5....

now i know that they have a reputation as a bit of a hairdressers car but they do handle well and whilst they are not the quickest in the world but they are fun

Congrats on your decision bud!  :y  I've never stopped regretting selling my miggy.

As for the MX5 - you may well get the mockers, but they are superb cars.  Stupidly reliable, with fantastic handling (a mate of mine used to have one a few years ago, and was amazed at how much fun you could have with a 1.6 engine!)

I just wish I had the hair to accompany it!!  Damn you, male pattern baldness...  :(  ;D

I don't have an MX5 (don't have a garage to keep one in sadly - nor the Caterham 7 I've always wanted and almost bought a few years ago (rather' insurance, loading the premium at a stupidly high rate cos it weren't garaged...  :-[ ) but have admired the way they handle.  They're like a fun-sized miggy  ;D
