I tried to get a new driver's side locking solenoid from my dealer to day but it's not in stock and the price is around £56. I said I'd think about it  and he gave me the part number of 90493702 should I wish to order it.

I have found a solenoid on EBay, described as a driver side solenoid, but with the part number 90493703 in the photo. Can anyone confirm that this one is OK (I've already put my bid in).

I imagine you could modify it  with a short bit of loom?

Failing that, contact one of the breakers here - I know JueV6 is breaking post 97 cars, not sure about the others

Should "Shaun's" procedure work on the Miggy? It doesn't on mine. I may do what Mark said and change the transponder chips over, although I think I need to fix the actuator problem first.
