I say put them back in prison uniform with them chained together! 8-) 8-)

They have committed a crime, and let's face it getting off light by just doing community work! >:( >:(

If I was in power, then it would be a completely different story and vis-vests would be the least of their problems. >:(

If I was dealing with convicts, I'd do what they do in the states - dress 'em in pink uniforms, no comfy cells or TVs - just spending 14 hours a day moving heavy rocks from one end of the yard to the other.

For the entire length of their sentence. Prison should be something that a convict NEVER wants to go back to.  >:(

Well there are two sides to this - a lot of them are first time offenders and will take this warning seriously. If they do the service and take the lesson, why add extra upset.

But then they did do it - but then you could get on this for one of the nulab thought crimes.

WHat do you do ?

Have you broken one of Tony and Gordons many thousand of new laws?

It's not a crime (yet) but it carries a big penalty - you could lose your house.

Local Authorities have powers under the Housing Act (2004) to issue orders to confiscate your home and rent it out.

You will be able to state your case for keeping your own house before a tribunal. The first aim of the legislation is to force you to let out your empty home, and only then, if you do not comply, will you lose it.

Meddling with vehicle clamp £1000 fine

Attending woman in childbirth if not a doctor or midwife £2,500 fine

Devising a tobacco advert which is published, two years jail (tobacco advertising and promotion act 2002)

Staging a church hall concert without a licence £20,000 and six months in jail

Evasion of dental or eye treatment fees, £2,500

Sounds risky ::)
