Software help.
« on: 13 December 2008, 17:25:06 »

Years ago I got a program free with a magazine called Graphic Work Shop.  With I could convert .bmp to .tif or .jpg etc etc.  Any picture file ext to any other.

Does anyone know of a program that will convert any .avi .wmv etc etc to .mpg  or one that will convert any type into .avi.

I have so many different file extentions on my PC and would rather them all be the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA.   :y

Very usefull tool for format conversion, aspect ratio changing, and resizing.

I use TMPGENC XP for MPEG2 and due to licencing all MPEG2 encoders have to be paid for, but mainly used for DVD mastering.

Most reencoders should managed it, assuming you have a valid encoder installed.

Most mpg2 codecs are licenced due to restrictions in mpeg2.
