All trash tv should be banned. What happened to decent telly on a saturday night - everything is chavvy trashy shite now  >:(

Merlin is good Doctor Who is good (SM stories at least)
I can understand people watching those kids programmes, but I can't get into them.  I don't mind my licence fee going on them, as I think they are decent enough programmes (even though not for me) :y

To be fair I have watch all the other X Factor's, Pop Idol etc and this one has been the worst of all. We all gave up watching it weeks back.
The choice of music I think has been horrendous, then when most started singing it made me cringe... mostly the backing music was too loud.....

Now when Will Young won who I think was the Best winner by far, the backing music was really quite low, and their singing could be heard...
Anyway can see this years winner amounting to much, like the rest.. ::)

I wouldn't call some of them kids stories, they had nightmares after the Doctor Who story "Blink"

Dr Who has always been under the Children's TV section - I'm sure we were all scared by the daleks in the early days.

Looking at the time its broadcast suggests also its aimed for a younger audience, as doctor who always has been :y

Torchwood defo wasn't for kids, but now I guess there is a new spinoff specially for young kids.

Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!
