Sky was setup earlier this month, comes on automatically regardless of what time they broadcast it.   :D

Microsoft Vista Media Center sorts it all out for me, I don't need to worry (though I did have to assign more disk space to recordings - it was saying it would soon have to delete some stuff as it was nearing its assigned space limit, got a 1Tb disk in there, so no problem)

I finally managed to to catch up with some sleep. didnt come back down stairs till 8.15 and had completely forgot about TG, allthough it would have come on as I had the TV on upstairs I am glad I havnt missed any of it.
