I thought that IE7 was superb, especially the new tabbed browser, and then I found that one of my favourite programs, MusicMatch Jukebox, will no longer run. Apparently it's a known issue without a fix. Unfortunately it took me a while to realise this and now I can't uninstall IE7 or do a system restore. Some time in the week I will have to reinstall Windows.

Thing is I have few issues with IE6, as to licence - same case, keyboard, monitor.
Neither of those items allow the OEM licence to be transferred - it is "significantly not the same system"

WGA - do I actually need it? Just more bloat.
Some of the feature upgrades to XP need WGA or won't install, so you're missing out. Not sure if IE7 is one or not, as I always allow WGA - its small and reliable, and is run on demand so no hit on resources, except a few kb of disk space

I disable so much stuff on XP it makes my work PC quicker than collegues with newer PCs at work.
I disable loads of stuff for security reasons

I think thats coming out of beta at moment.  How are you getting on with it - I gave up with it a few months ago as it was non-stop crashing

Odd, as the API's are essentially the same - sounds like they probably didn't obey the API rules, which is the usual reason for stuff breaking.

I use newsest version of Firefox, IE7 and IE6 (at work), due to some software still not tested for IE7 complience. My prefered choice - IE7
