Ouiji boards
« on: 17 December 2008, 19:43:49 »

I know knothing about them, never seen or touched one.

Yet a relative (great uncle) has recently come by one, and apparently plays it with friends.

They swear it's really freaky -and have (apparently) accurately predicted really strange things - but I personally don't believe there is anything behind it.

What's your view?

Never seen one, never touched one and never will. They are really dangerous if used incorrectly.

So I've heard so many people say.

Can you tell me what the danger is?

dont do it james,

No intention of it

Not because Im scared, just don't see the point.

I can't see what the fear is. Everyone says they are so scary - can anyone offer a verifiable explanation as to why?

I don't believe in spirits though - hence still don't see any dangers.

I just think they're a pointless excercise, but not scary.

Maybe the effects are psychological?

Oh come on guys.......it might scare a bunch of old women but thats all.....lots of us used to play with these things as kids.

Best not to give it too much importance.....and just see it as a bit of a laugh. :y :y :y :y

Speaking just for myself, I can't get my head around why so many people are so scared of a board game - I don't see how such a game could have any real life effects.

Maybe I'm too simplistic - I just don't believe in paranormal stuff.
