The memory for the replacement OOF server I ordered from Crucial on Monday, using their free delivery, turned up on Wednesday.  OK, it cost £40, but thats pretty competitive for 2 x 2G DDR2-6400 ECC modules.

For ECC I waould sat thats a bargain for LTW

my work pc (XP) was recently upgraded from 2gb to 4gb and all hell broke loose, everything was freezing and locking up so we took a stick out and it ran perfectly with 3gb ::)

like TB says xp don't always like running the max ram ;)
